Who we are

A passionate team at your service since 2017

Albert Ébénisterie was founded in Gland in 2017, moved to Gingins in 2019, and has been growing into a team since. What follows tells who we are and how the workshop took shape.

The TOMÉ team in the Gingins workshop

Our story

How the workshop took shape.

Five milestones in less than ten years: one founder alone, a new workshop, a growing team, an in-house design studio, a new name.

  1. 2017

    Founded in Gland

Massimo Albert starts Albert Ébénisterie on his own at the bench. First workshop in Gland, one machine, bespoke woodwork projects.

  2. 2019

    New workshop in Gingins

Move to Chemin des Cheseaux, into a workshop sized for more ambitious machinery. The team grows from one to three cabinetmakers.

  3. 2025

    Partnership and growth plan

Laurent Hayoz partners with Massimo Albert. The team grows with several CFC-qualified cabinetmakers and an apprentice. Projects gain scope.

  4. 2026

    Integrated design

The team grows with an interior architect / draftsperson, letting us take on ambitious high-end projects. Eight people around every project, from first sketch to installation.

  5. 2026

    Albert Ébénisterie becomes TOMÉ

The workshop changes its name and becomes TOMÉ. Same team, same workshop in Gingins, same way of working.

About

From sketch to site — the same team.

Designed in-house

Our in-house design office draws every project before a single cut is made. You sign off on the 3D plans.

Built in-house

Everything is made in-house, letting us stay flexible and responsive at every stage of a truly bespoke project.

Installed in person

The cabinetmakers who built your project are the ones who come to install it. One point of contact, start to finish.

Built to last

Traditional joinery, premium hardware, natural finishes. Repairable piece by piece.

Jobs

The workshop is growing.

We recruit regularly — cabinetmakers, apprentices and design profiles. If you want real autonomy and direct feedback, come and see.
